- Using Short Codes for content functions, such as forms
- Templates to control layout and content blocks
- Controlling page styles with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Examining CSS using the browser’s inspector
- Java script identifyers
- RSS feeds
- Backups
- Local hosting on your laptop
- Migrating websites to other hosts
2) Websites hosted on free space at WordPress.com
(shortened on the calendar to WordPress.COM)
- Setting up an account on WordPress.com
- Exploring your WordPress account
- Managing Images with simple editors and wordpress editors
- Choosing a theme
- Posts vs Pages
- Menus vs Categories
- Widgets
- Short code
- Using Short Codes for content functions, such as forms
RSS feeds
3) Workshops arranged through Meetup.com for those who have been administrators on at least a few self hosted sites.
Our most advanced offering. Topics vary, according to presenter.
