It has been a busy spring and summer around the Clubhouse. There has been sadness as well as accomplishments. Our new name “Victoria Computer Club” has attracted new members and favorable comments. When the club was formed 30 years ago, everyone knew what “Big Blue” stood for but now so much has been added and changed in the computer world that the name ”Big Blue and Cousins” is no longer relevant.
What is it?
Along with the change in name has come the updating of our website which is timely.
Ken Beattie, expert photographer and instructor for the Photo SIG was honored with a request to be a judge for the American Rhododendron Society Photo competition along with two other prominent photographic experts. Congratulations Ken!
RILLA BALLANTYNE with her two photographs which were hanging in the Juried show “BIRDS” held at the Coast Collective Art Center recently. Rilla is a member of the Photography SIG. She is also an award winning Flower Arranger and voluntarily provides beautiful arrangements for Government House and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria.
